Continue feeding your puppy the same diet the breeder was feeding until he/she has adjusted to the new family and home.
A change in diet and feeding schedules during the first few days can be very stressful for you puppy and can cause diarrhoea. Clean water must always be available. Yorkies must not drink cow milk, this causes diarrhoea.
Weaning to 8 weeks every 3 hours.
8 to 12 weeks every 4 hours.
12 to 24 weeks every 6 hours.
6 months and older every 6 to 8 hours.
